Dr Ivanova-Stoilova holds a double accreditation as a Consultant Anaesthetist and a Consultant in Pain Medicine.
She was one of the first consultants in Wales to devote her clinical skills to Pain Medicine full time.
As a speciality, Pain Medicine appealed to her because of thorough knowledge of basic science, anatomy, physiology, excellent procedural skills, keeping abreast of the newest advances in medical and surgical specialities, application of assessment skills for physical and psychological signs and knowledge of complimentary therapies.
Having mastered all of these, she combines her medical expertise with empathy, coaching and supporting her patients through all the stages of their pain condition.
She wholeheartedly is doing her best to help her patients live their lives well by managing their condition that may be life-long.
